Huge malls (Siam Paragon, Iconsiam) with entire floors of shopping, food, and entertainment. Covered museums and temples (Wat Pho, the Grand Palace — a significant part of them is covered). Thai massage is also an excellent option for a rainy day — really doesn't spoil in the rain.

Tropical rain usually doesn't last a whole day — it's usually an intense burst of an hour or two and then it clears up. Worth planning the morning for an indoor activity and checking the forecast before deciding to give up on the plan entirely.

Outdoor Activities That Are Actually Worth It in Light Rain
Light tropical rain (not a storm) isn't always a reason to give up an outdoor trip — sometimes it's actually more pleasant than the regular heat, and temples and outdoor sites stay open with fewer tourists. Worth considering based on the actual rain intensity, not just a general forecast.
