Who Writes the Content
THAI TROPIC is run by Asaf, an independent developer. Content is written with the help of AI tools, under his direction, review, and editing — not mass automated publishing with no human involvement. We don't pretend to firsthand experience we don't have: the guides on this site are based on research, data, and official sources, not "we were there and this is what we saw".
Where the Hotel Data Comes From
Hotel names, addresses, coordinates, star ratings, review scores, and review counts come directly from Agoda — they are not written or edited by us. If a live price isn't available at a given moment, the site says so explicitly instead of showing a made-up number. "Near..." badges (a mall, a beach, an airport, a Chabad house) are computed from a real distance between real coordinates — not an estimate.
How We Handle Information That Changes — Visa, Entry, Health
Topics like Thailand's visa and entry rules change over time, as happened more than once in 2026. In guides on such topics we state the date of our last check, and link to the official source (a foreign ministry, an embassy, a government authority) at the end of the guide, under "Official sources". Our content is a good starting point, not a substitute for checking the official source before booking a flight.
Updates and Corrections
When a guide is meaningfully updated, the update date is shown on the page itself. We don't change the date just to make content look fresh without it actually changing. If you found an error or outdated information, we'd appreciate hearing about it — see contact details on the About.
