Koh Lipe is a small, remote island in southern Thailand, close to the Malaysian border, with especially clear water and a slow pace of life — less accessible and therefore less crowded than the better-known islands.

November–April (some infrastructure closes during rainy season due to the distance).

Flight to Hat Yai or Langkawi (Malaysia) and from there a relatively long ferry.

- •There's no airport on the island itself — the most common route is a flight to Hat Yai or Langkawi (Malaysia) and from there a long ferry.
- •Due to the distance and limited accessibility, some businesses close entirely during rainy season (May-October) — worth confirming in advance.
- •The island is small enough to get around entirely on foot — no need for a vehicle or scooter.
